Master Builder of the Electric Rascal

Jon Meek is a good old friend and perhaps the best boatbuilder I have ever met. We worked together in the famous Cracker Boy boat yard in Riviera Beach, Florida. Later we formed a small boutique boatshop called "Muddy River Boatworks", a few blocks from the White House in Washington DC.

I metioned this project to Jon over the phone and he was all over it. The next thing I knew he came up from his shop in Georgia and we spent a week modifying the plans for ultra-light weight and bought some quality materials.

Well, I asked him to make a quick and dirty prototype so we could do some motor testing. What he's building is a quick piece of furniture-grade woodwork. I don't think he can help it.

"There is no reward in the next life for not building a boat in this one"
